To all my friends who are martial arts instructors and school owners. What will you do if you are involved in a real-life self-defense situation?
I'm not talking about what physical defense will you choose or how will you employ your martial arts skill.
I am talking about how will you defend yourself legally and financially? I am talking about legal protection.

Be the example. The most rewarding feeling of having been a martial arts instructor for 5 decades is when someone tells me how much my teaching them helped them in their life.
When I was teaching and training every day I was so busy I didn't take the time to reflect on how what I was doing impacted those around me.
Moving forward in our lives we need to be the example. We need to uphold a high standard of morality. For what good is a person who doesn't leave the world a better place. Coach Martin
